whats the best way to shave my ass without it itching so much that scratching with a fork wont help?
how many times have you shaved your ass?
Protip: Pull the hard to get hairs out by hand in the shower.
>>7 once or twice,shitty results
>>20 You just need to shave more often. Also, you don't need much pressure, just glide it along. Keep the razor very clean of hair - rinse often, or have a shower head blasting it while you shave.
try veet. kills the hair or summin and you don't need to shave n get a spotty ass
How long does a bottle of Veet or Nair usually last? I've wanted to get some, but it would have to last a while to justify the price to me (I'm really cheap!).
To shave my ass I prefer to take a hot shower and then dry off. Ill apply lotion and shave, make sure that you clean he razor out by wiping. A generous amount of lotion will help the razor expel the shaved hair and a mirror helps something fierce, cause no matter how far I bend I can't see my own butt hole clearly. :(
>>27 DO NOT USE THOSE PRODUCTS. There are warnings right on the packages about using them in those areas of the body.

Haha, that one I know through personal experience a few years back. I just want to use it on my legs.

What exactly is supposed to happen if you use that stuff near your asshole? I use a special cream for pubes and such and never experienced anything from it. Or is it just unhealthy because you take in the ingredients more in that area?

It usually burns horribly. Sensitive formula seems to work on my pubic triangle, but I accidentally got a really small amount on my sac the other night and after about 10 seconds I had a small chemical burn that hurt pretty bad for a few days. The first time I ever used Nair it wasn't the sensitive formula and I didn't really know what I was doing, so I actually had a few small pin-head sized areas where it ate through the skin and drew blood.
Well, spaking from experience, Veet works LOTS better than nair. They do make a sensitive formulae, that i persoanaly prefer. So get that if you have any initial worries. Their normal stuff, on 'sensitive areas', can potentially start to burn a little (did my whole lower body from waist down about 2 weeks ago. entirely. And only felt a slight burn/sting on a spot near my tail hole, but not on it).
As far as how long it lasts... Depend son the person really. Hair grows at different rates for different people. Like I mentioned, I did mine 2-3 weeks ago, and only started being 'noticable' again a few days ago. But my hair grows fairly slow.
As an aside, I did use their normal stuff this time around. Newer version is in a deep brown/red container. I couldn't find the sensitive one where I was at (light green, or pink, depending on preference for fragrences). And they had both spray cans (which don't contain enough to do 'everything' down below) and a new pump for the cream version (which is what I ended up having to use to get the harder to reach areas).
Although, this new one is somehow different than the ones i've tried from them previously. It actually grew back prickly and stubbly, unlike the others I've used from them that let the hair grow in more rounded off and smooth. Would have been cheaper, and just as prickly, to simply shave! O_O
So, #29, these products can be used just fine (I would surmise even Nair's 'mens formulae') for genital areas. Provided one follows the instructions provided with them. Their warnings aren't against use, period, but merely a reccommendation to not use them in certain areas due to the possibility of chemical burns. So it's users' risk. And general works just fine for me, getting that 'hairless as a babe' feel, everywhere. ^_^
>>84I just used the Nair Men's Formula on my "sensitive areas" 2 days ago with no adverse effects. in fact I was wishing it would have been a slight bit stronger cause I had to keep it on an extra 10 mins past the max.
Experimenting with Magic Shaving Powder right now.
Face is now almost perfectly smooth, tried it on my armpits, which are now almost perfectly smooth. It's been a few hours, and there's no irritation.
Gonna wait a few days to see if there are any impacts/side-effects from today's trial, and then move on to the lower half of my body. I'll report back then.

Been a few days, no skin damage or bumps, hair takes much longer to grow back, and all that lovely stuff.
Next, lower body.

Phoebe, what is your skin and hair type?
I'm interested in trying Magic Shave, but I've had bad results with other depilatories.
Accidentally gave myself a mild chemical burn yesterday going over my sideburns again yesterday, think I'm going to go a bit longer in between uses. It takes a while for the hair to grow back anyway.
Worked wonders on my lower-body, though I didn't make enough of the solution so I only ended up removing maybe half the hair I intended to. I'll finish up the job in a few days.
