Alright so,I've always had the urge to transition but I, as well as others constantly talk me out of it on the basis of my height. I fear that I may be too tall to really "pass". Pretty much I'm just asking for some other opinions here, I know in the end it's always my choice but it wouldn't hurt to have some insight from the actual community. As of now I'm on the better half of 6"5'. I have a fairly feminine figure/ face already but I worry that my height will just sort of "stunt my growth as a woman" :/ Tips, Opinions?
There are plenty of tall girls who aren't supermodels and who look pretty awesome to me.
I don't think your height will negatively affect your transition. If anything, I've heard that estrogen affects the spine curvature in a way that decreases height without affecting posture. I don't know how true that is as the evidence is anecdotal. I think what makes a noticeable difference is possessing a feminine figure and face (like you say you do), so you're already halfway there.
Moreover, what really matters is having confidence enough to consider other people's opinions and just do whatever the hell you want to do and what's best for you (to paraphrase Robert Downey Jr.)
Oh yeah, by reduced height, I mean by 1-2 inches. Not like a whole foot, that'd be peculiar.
Just wear athletic clothing all the time and say you play basketball or volleyball :)
