Hi TranChan!
I've known - without knowing the exact terminology - that I'm transgender since an early, early age. However, I hid this reality in order to fit in and avoid being abandoned by the one's I love. Sad, I know...
That said, I plan on coming out/transitioning around May of 2013. At 24, I've spent enough of my life hiding. I've picked a therapist and set an appointment. The only thing standing in my way now is, sigh, myself.
I've been losing tons of weight and preparing my body for the date. But I can't help feeling ugly and reluctant.
Save the whole "it doesn't matter how you look, it's how you feel" spiel, I've heard it. The reality is, I don't feel comfortable transitioning if I know for certain I don't pass.
So, I was hoping you could help me out.
I have a couple pics to share (most with my face half-masked -- for privacy reasons). I know it's not ideal, but that's the way it is.
I'd love to know what you think!

Well, you look okay so far.
Body wise you look o.k., how you do your make up is also important especially when trying to hide masculine features. I hope to see you post a few more pics!

There seems to be a lot of passing potential, if that's what you're at without any hormones. Facial features are of course of utmost importance, but that picture really doesn't allow anyone to say anything about that.
But on the other hand pretty much anything can work out well with proper makeup.
It's not about how you look, It's about how you feel.

Well, I can say that you look good so far! I'm can't speak for anyone else, but I still don't feel like I can pass all that well, but other's seem to think I look better than I think I do.
But the right makeup and clothes are really important to emphasizing certain things and minimizing others
